Getting to the Club

Parking and Arrival

  • On-site Parking: Main car park with room for 20+ cars (gravel surface) located directly outside the gate.

  • Accessible Parking: A designated Blue Badge space is available within the club grounds.

  • Drop-off Point: Available directly outside the club entrance.

  • Lighting: The car parks do have lights that illuminate the area for better visibility and safety at night.

Public Transport

  • Bus Station: Located 0.7 miles from the club (approximately an 11-minute walk).

Access to the Area

Entrances and Pathways

  • Main Entrance: Level ground access.

  • Locker Rooms: Accessible via a fixed, slabbed ramp.

  • Pathways: Smooth mixture of tarmac and paving slabs for easy movement.

Greens and Playing Areas

  • Step Access: Three sets of access steps are located around the green (1 step each).

  • Ramp Access: A portable ramp is available on request for all other access requirements.

Clubhouse Facilities

  • Toilets: Standard and accessible toilets are available.

  • Changing Facilities: Standard male and female changing rooms.

  • Seating: Accessible seating is provided indoors, outdoors, and in additional areas.

  • Catering: Food and drinks are available. Specific dietary requirements can be accommodated on request.

  • Payments:  Cash and Card accepted in the Bar, Cash preferred for the Kitchen.  Bacs payments are available for memberships

Support and Equipment

  • Assistance: Volunteers are available on-site, and assistance dogs are welcome.

  • Adaptive Equipment: Wheelchairs, portable ramps, and adaptive bowling equipment are available for use.

  • Communication: Members and visitors are kept informed via the website, social media, email, printed information, and a dedicated WhatsApp group.

Emergency Procedures

  • Defibrillator: An automated external defibrillator (AED) is located on-site.

  • Safety Systems: Full fire detection systems are installed.

  • Evacuation: A dedicated accessible evacuation plan is in place.
